As we close out another amazing month, we’re flipping pages and making big waves—together. The Book Bounty community keeps growing stronger, and it’s all thanks to your passion, your reviews, and your love for great stories. We’re so grateful to have such an incredible group of readers and authors on this journey. Ready to see what’s coming next?... Let’s go!

🚨New Features Dropping Soon!🚨

Geo Bounties Are Almost Here! 🌍📚

We’re just weeks away from launching one of our biggest updates since Book Bounty began—and we can't wait to show you what's coming.

So, what are Geo Bounties?
Soon, you’ll be able to filter the Book Bounty library by marketplace and language—and (drumroll, please 🥁)... you’ll even get to choose where your reviews get posted! Whether you want love from .com, .co.uk, .de, or all of the above—you’re in control now. 🙌

Here's somethings to know about what's coming

📌 What happens with your current bounties?

Any bounty you've created or is in progress will still continue to work without issue.

🎛 A sleek new library layout

We're introducing a new layout for the library. We’ve moved the filters and nav to the left side for smoother browsing. Because who doesn’t love a good glow-up? This will also allow us to add even more filtering options we have coming soon.

🌍 Bounty marketplace tags

You’ll now see which Amazon marketplace a bounty targets—front and center. We're adding in the upper left hand corner of the bounty listing which marketplace the bounty is accepting reviews to and these bounties will only show up if the library is filtered to the specific marketplace.

You can still create non-specific bounties open to everyone, everywhere—just like we do today. No passport required. 😉 Which means if you do not designate a specific marketplace for your bounty, will be available to all members in all marketplaces.

We also adding to the bounty history area marketplace tag so you'll know which marketplace your review was posted to.

What You'll Do After Launch:

1. Choose your default marketplace

The first time you log in post-update, we’ll ask which marketplace you want your library focused on. You can switch this up anytime in your settings. No pressure.

2. Updating your books

Forget the full Amazon URL (amazon.com/dp/ASIN)—we now just need your book’s ASIN (for your ebook and/or paperback). You’ll want to update your book’s details when you get the chance, but no rush—everything still works as-is until then.

3. Set the marketplaces you plan to create bounties to

You will want to pick which marketplaces you plan on creating bounties for and what language your book is in. Remember: Non-specific is universal to all marketplaces and will always be an option.

Once your book has been updated and re-approved, the next time you create a bounty, you will have the options to choose which marketplace(s) you'd like your reviews be posted to.

💡 Remember: Each bounty equals one review request. So you can create a bounty just for Amazon.com, another for Amazon.co.uk, or even one that covers both—it’s totally up to you!

💵 NOTE: At this time pricing will still be displayed in USD for all marketplaces.

✅ Pro Tip: If you're targeting international marketplaces, make sure your KDP pricing is set correctly for those regions. That way, your bounty price will align with the actual Amazon price in that country.

💛Play Nice, Support Each Other💛

As you know Book Bounty, we believe in building a supportive, respectful community where authors and reviewers lift each other up. While we can’t tell anyone how to review a book, we do encourage kindness, honesty, and professionalism in every interaction.

Need to share private feedback instead of a public review?
Please remember—you can always cancel a bounty and send a message directly to the publisher instead. And soon, you’ll even have this option when turning in a bounty too. 🙌

A quick reminder about AI-generated reviews:
Please don’t cut corners by submitting reviews written entirely by AI. Even though Amazon hasn’t published strict rules about this yet, they’re likely keeping an eye on patterns—and we don’t want anyone’s account flagged or restricted. More importantly, it doesn’t help fellow authors who’ve poured their time and heart into their work.

On the topic of AI in publishing:
We know opinions differ when it comes to using AI. AI is becoming part of every creative process—from grammar tools, image creation, to formatting help—and many authors are learning to use it wisely. Calling out a book in a review for "using AI" is not helpful or fair, especially when AI is everywhere. Whether someone used a ghostwriter, an artist, an AI tool, or collaborated with an editor who brought in AI tech—it’s all part of today’s evolving creative process.

Let’s focus reviews on what really matters: the story, the message, and the reader experience.
Together, let’s keep Book Bounty a space that uplifts, supports, and celebrates creativity in all its forms. 💬✨
