Back in December, we made changes to keep up with Amazon’s new community guidelines—because staying Amazon-safe is our top priority! But we didn’t just stop at the bare minimum—we went above and beyond to make sure you’re even more secure while using Book Bounty.

Now, we know change isn’t always fun (we hate removing features we worked hard on too 😭), but playing it safe beats being sorry! That’s why we’ve rolled out some new features to allow more anonymity for unbiased reviewing which is ultimately what Amazon wants.

Amazon is all about 100% anonymity between products/brands and reviewers. They want to prevent brands from tracking their reviewers, influencing feedback, or retaliating based on reviews. Their goal? Organic, honest, and unbiased reviews. And at Book Bounty, we’re right there with them!

​To stay compliant, we will no longer be emailing or displaying the review text to you. We don't loved doing this but it's got to go.😢 But don’t worry! We’ll still be verifying that reviews make it onto Amazon, and you’ll still copy & paste your review into Book Bounty as usual. Our 40-word minimum review requirement remains in place to ensure all reviews are meaningful and high-quality.

💡 Good news! We will continue our feature for if a review can’t be verified on Amazon, we’ll still provide you with the review text—so you don’t lose that valuable feedback! With these Amazon changes, Amazon is also now limiting the ability to verify reviews easily. We’re making the Bounty process smoother and faster! Now, you can add the direct URL to your review when turning in a Bounty to speed up approval.

As you know, Amazon can take anywhere from 1 to 8+ days to post a review. Normally, you’ll receive an email from Amazon with your review link so, we’ve added a new step in the turn-in process where you can copy and paste the direct URL to the bounty and submit it for quicker verification!
