As many of us have noticed, Amazon has been shaking things up with some major changes to their review algorithms. In the process, a mix of fake and completely authentic reviews are being removed, since their bots cannot always tell the difference. We pressed pause on the new features we had planned so we could jump in, regroup, and make sure Book Bounty stays in sync.

While Amazon still has no official written rules about AI in reviews, we have always encouraged real, personal feedback from actual readers and not to be lazy and let AI do it for you. Authentic experiences is what helps authors grow, help your books sell, and what make this community special. And now that Amazon is clearly targeting anything that looks robotic or AI influenced, we are stepping up our game too.

We are excited to introduce a brand new analysis system designed to help spot those generic, AI style reviews that Amazon dislikes. The goal is simple. We are not here to change your voice, tell you how to review or rewrite your thoughts. We just want to help catch moments where a review might accidentally sound too similar to one you have written before or too close to the patterns Amazon flags as AI. This would also mean you'd be receiving reviews for your books that are more genuine and authentic and not written by an AI bot.

As we fine tune this feature, we hope it becomes a helpful tool that protects your reviews from being removed while still keeping your message, your personality, and your honest thoughts about the book completely intact. Your genuine experience is the heart of every review, and this system is here to help make sure it stays that way.
