Free Promotions Temporary Pause

We don't love having to pause this feature. We’re always working to stay aligned with Amazon’s latest updates so we can continue supporting your success. Recently, we’ve noticed that Amazon has become more strict with KDP Free Promotion days. Free Promotion bounties can move very quickly, and when using a book club like Book Bounty, just about every sale can result with a review. We're concerned this can create an imbalance between sales and no reviews, vs. sales always receiving reviews in a way that Amazon’s new bots could consider unnatural, especially if it happens too much, too quickly. So, to be on the side of caution, we are pausing Free Promotion bounties while we work on putting some guardrails in place. Remember, it’s always a good idea to market and promote your books using many sources like your social media channels, mailing lists, and Amazon ads to generate traffic from a variety of sources along with Book Bounty, which will ultimately help improve both your sales and your book’s overall performance.
