It has been asked for a while that we add higher price tiers for ebooks and we have delivered. We wanted to remind those who might have missed the information that we have a new browser extension to streamline the confirmation process and not have to send in emails or review links. This new browser extension will currently work with any Chromium-based browser like Google Chrome, Brave, Microsoft Edge, and others. We do have plans to add more browsers soon. We understand how useful KDP Free Promotion days can be for book launches and gaining reviews. However, Amazon still seems to be very strict about how quickly reviews can grow when using Free Promotion bounties, and this can appear as unnatural growth to their systems. Using the promotional tools available in KDP is absolutely fine, including options like Free Promotion days. These are part of Amazon’s system. That said, Amazon still evaluates how those promotions perform, especially how many downloads happen, how quickly and how fast reviews come in. They compare this activity to similar books running the same promotions to make sure everything appears natural. If something does not appear natural to the Amazon bots, silent flags can happen or worse. So, for now, we’re going to stay on the side of caution and continue the Free Promotion pause while we evaluate how to safely proceed with this bounty type. We’ll keep you updated as we determine the best path forward. Thank you for your understanding.

Amazon is watching more than ever keeping a close eye on activity across its entire ecosystem. And they're watching Kindle Unlimited activity more than before. This includes things like borrowing patterns, reading volume, reading speed, and reviewing behavior. When activity looks inconsistent with how a typical reader would engage, it can stand out. Every account is essentially being measured against millions of others, so keeping things natural, honest, and balanced is key.

The Kindle app gives Amazon strong insight into how content is consumed. This includes when someone is reading, how long they stay engaged, how many pages are read, and whether their behavior aligns with normal reader habits. By looking at these patterns over time, Amazon can identify activity that doesn’t quite match typical usage.

As always, the best approach is to do things the right way. Pick books you’re interested in and read them at a natural pace. The number of books you go through in a day, week, or month matters, the faster you try to go the more it can appear unnatural and your account could get flagged or worse.

Be sure to read enough of the book, ideally all of it, so you can form and share your genuine, thoughtful opinion in your review. It’s also important to maintain normal purchasing activity so your account reflects real consumer behavior and does not appear to be created solely for reviewing.

Take your time and let your reviews reflect your true experience. That’s where the real value in supporting your fellow authors comes from. Enjoy the process, support great books, and grow the right way. That’s what leads to lasting success.
